Students will each be taught how to make the same floral quilt block with the technique of foundation paper piecing.

Foundation paper piecing is a technique that allows for complex images and designs featuring small shapes to be neatly executed in fabric. This class will covers the basics of this method through a starter block then advance to a more complex tulip block. This class will not result in a finished quilt but will result in a quilt block that students can use in their future work as well as inspiration for more projects.

New sewists are not recommended for this class
