Altar to the Summer Solstice

“Altar for Summer” is a giant folding shrine meant to allow you to lay prone arms out and open upon or folded up and curled into. During the catharsis of the summer solstice, the tipping point of the year, I always feel kinetic and eager but not sustainably so. This quilt is a little space to hold offering to the complete overwhelming spill over of it all.
